Vary A Home Building Contract

Under the Home Building Contract, variations can be made by the owner, contractor, at the request of council, or due to unforeseen circumstances.

For a Home Building Contract variation to be valid, a written notice outlining the variation / s and any pricing changes must be agreed upon and signed by both parties. If this does not occur and a dispute arises, it may be the case that a Court or Tribunal will not rule in your favour.

Michael Evans of our firm has extensive experience in building and construction litigation. He acts for homeowners and builders in disputes over contract variations. Contact us today on (02) 6362 1866 to arrange a conference with him.
